CONFERENCES KEEPING. Australian and N.Z. Gable Association. (Received December 29, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 28. Preliminary conferences, with a view to the settlement of the Irish question, are already being held, and' definite progress is expected immediately. It is understood that Air Lloyd George is forcing the pace, and is sending additional Government representatives to assist Mr Duke at tho conferences. ,
