RUMANIA'S WAR.

THE DOBRUDJA ATTACK. PROGRESS OF THE BYLGARSAustralian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received September 11, 11 a.m.) ROME, September 10. A wireless message .states that the public of Bucharest are indifferent regarding the Bulgar advance in the I>obrudja region, which, is considered ephemeral. The forts at Turtukai and Silistria are impregnable. The Russians continue to concentrate in Dobrudja. A Bucharest message to the <k Daily Telegraph" on Thursday, however, states that the Rumanians at Turtukai resisted gallantly, but the enemy was of crushing numerical superiority. It adds that the Bulgars aro murdering Rumanian prisoners and torturing them horribly. General von Mackensen's ihi*ust towards Bucharest, says the correspondent, i 3 a characteristic move, but depends on the possibility of preventing the Russians at Dobrich and elsewhere from attacking von Mackensen's rear.
