BRITISH SUBMARINE'S WORK. Australian and I'.Z. Cable Association. (Received July 31, .8.50 a.m.) COPFA'HAGEN, July 30: A submarine, apparently English, torpedoed tbo Novdeuy. . A German torpcdoer attacked the submarine, which lodged shells in tho torpedoer and escaped. (\ (-,-hi-:L'r.'m from J.ondou on July 27 stated that the Norddeut-scher Llovd steamer Nordeuv, from Sweden, with iron ore, \-as siiak in the Baltic. 'Hie master and throe of the crow were drowned.)
