HOCKEY.
MATCHES POSTPONED.
Owing to the heavy rain this afternoon all matches under the control of the Canterbury Hockey Association were postponed. A meeting of players and referees was held in the Y.M.C. rooms, Tim president, Mr W. Simpson, presided over a good attendance. Mr ISi. Goldsbury gave, a short lecture on the theory of the game, after which the various points raised were thoroughly. discussed by those present.
