RED CROSS WORK.
The following letter of -acknowledgement was received this week from the Xew Zc-aLmd War Contingent Association in. Loudon by the lied' Cross Society - I'ho cases that we have opened are excellent it way, raid I cannot tell you how useful the things are to us just nov,-. It is getting increasing]y difficult to get woven things. One luis to oa-cler thorn -weeks beforehand, .ind just lately we Jiavo got rather low in vests and shirts, so that your cases have been a real God send. I think I did explain to you before that we as a sub-committee (the Visiting Committee) of the "War Contingent Association are dealing with men in hospital all over England, and vro are now doing what wo can to look after theso men from France. I wanted to let your workers know how very grateful wo are for the goods you sent."
