THE CENSUS.
It has been decided to take the census on October 15, and tho Postal Department has been entrusted with the work. Officers are now busy subdividing their districts into sub-enumerators' areas. The city and suburban sub-dis-tricts will be collected by the lettercarriers' staff ?.oid the outside districts by suitable persons, who will be appointed later.
