ENEMY ATTEMPTS FAIL. The High Commissioner reports:— - - LONDON, June 21. To the south of the Sbrame an enemy detachment which attempted to enter the linesibefore Maucourt was dispersed' by rifle fire. North-west of Rheims the Germans, after exploding two mines, attacked the trenches of Hill 103, south of Berry-au-Bac." They were met by curtain fire, and the attempt completely failed.
