QUEEN ELECTION.
TO-DAY'S POSITIONS.
When the results of tho voting wore declared to-day it was found that only two changes had occurred. Mrs JDeans (West and Suburbs) maintained her position in tho placo of honour. Mrs Walter Hill (Industries) wrested fifth plnco from tho Hills candidate, and Mrs J'. C. Palmer (Public Services) displaced Mrs G. K Rhodes (Soldiers) m the eighth position. The votes polled during the day totalled 112,000, making tho grand total 4,380,800, which capitalised represents £54,760. The positions of tho candidates are as follow: ' 8. West and Suburbs, Sirs J.
