PROPERTY SALES. „ | At their land salerooms this afternoon Messrs Craddock, M'Crostie Company offered a number of properties, but only a couple changed hands under the hammer. A property consisting: of 14 porche-s, and situated in Mooi'hcuso Avenua. adjoining the Christchurch Gas Company's property, was sold to Mr R. C. Bishop for £290. An eighth of an acre at Redcliffs, on which stands ® tworoomed cottage, changed, hands at £lls. POULTRY. Messrs J. JB. Merrett and Co. report a good entry 10-day, though the weather was against the large Easter sale. Prices were r.nd show an advance in some lines- Table chickens realised 4s 6d to S3 lOd, hens 2s to <O3 3d, pullets 3a 6d to Ds 6d, ducks 4s to 7s 4d, geese 7s to 9s, turkeys Us to 23 s > per pair. A. B. Sands and Co. report a good entry at their yards to-day. The entry was somewhat lessened by the rough weather. Prices %vereon a par with last week's. Following were the prices realised: —Prime table chickens 3s ttl to 8s id per pair, hens 3s to -Is lOd, pullets 'ls to 7s 6d, geese 6s 9d to 7s 9d. turkeys. (gobblers) 17s to 28s 6d, turkeys (hens) 9s to 13s. EGGS. The etg market continues firm, with supplies good. Canterbury Egg Circle first grades renlised to-day 2s, . seconds Is 8d to la lOd per dozen; preserved eggs Is 4d to Is 5d per dozan.
