TO-DAY'S MARKETS.
Messrs .T. B. Merret.t and Co. report a large entry at their sale, to-day. Some prime lines of goslings, ducklings and table chickens were yarded, and excellent, prices obtained. Hens are easier in price, consequent on the large number being forced on the market through dear feeds. Table chickens realised 6s to 10s 2d, goslings 5s 6d to 12s Gd, ducklings 3s fid to 9s Gd, hens 2s to 4s Bd. pullets Lis lid to 7s 2d, turkeys 7s to 28s; till at per pair. A. B. Sands and Co. report a good on try at their yards to-day. Prime table chickens, ducklings and geese being in great .demand, prices for same beine; the best of the season. Following were the prices realised:—Table chickens os (id to K!s 7d. hens 2s 6d to 4s ;'ld, ducks 6s to 10s 2d, gaese 7s 6d to 12s. turkeys (goblers) to Ij'os.; all per pair.
