German and Italian newspapers assert that Bulgaria has not made any engagement to support any belligerent. Berlin denies that Bulgaria has sent an ultimatum to Serbia. "Le Temps" says that M. Vest- j nitcfa, Serbian Minister to France, in at interview stated: "It is necessary for the Allies to act quickly in defence of Serbia. We have reason to believe that their support will be forthcoming."
