SEAXAM STRUCK WITH A BOTTLE. Shortly before eleven o'clock last night some excitement was created on the waterfront at Lytteiton by a disturbance in which two seamen were concerned. Mj* H. Constables Bickerdike: .md Joyce then arrived oQ the scene and conveyed the injured man, whose ;anie was ascertained to be John Sullivan, to the Casualty Ward, while the other man was taken into custody, van was attended to by Dr Newell, who found' it necessary to sew ur> a wound in his head with six stitches. Sullivan was reported' to be progiessing favourably towards recovery early this aiorn.ng. 1
