Tho tax means 3s a case, and of cases are used annually in this quarter alone. Firms arc petitioning Parliament in order to have the cruder varieties of motor spirit exempted. _ Several of tho cruder varieties of spirit cannot be used by motorists, and so fishermen cannot see any objection to their exemption under these circumstances.
