CONFERENCE COMMITTEE'S REPORT. PRICES FIXEIX At the conference held on Friday afternoon between those interested in the frozen meat export trade mid the Right Hon W. l'\ Massey, it wa« decided' after some discussion, that a committee consisting of Sir George. Clifford (oliairman), and Messrs A. Boyle, C. H. Elisor, G. W. Leadley (producers' representatives), A. Sims, W. Murray and 11. F. Nieotl (oxporters' representatives), should ho appointed to meet in conference to discuss and fix a price per pound' over-ail in the works. The committee met on Saturday morning, when it was agreed that the over-all price to be paid by export buyera to producers for lambs should bo continued at 6|d and 6Jd per pound' until April 30, inclusive, and 6 11-Mkl and 6 5-1 fxl thereafter until May 81, such prices to apply to all lambs delivered at freezing works on or before Buch dates. This arrangement shall he subject to revision after the end of May. In addition to tho roprosentntivns mentioned above, Mr I>. Jones was present in the interests of tho producers.
