CHALLENGERS BREAK DOWN.

A sensational change came over the challenge match between Boys' High School and Palmerston North this morning. lT'gh School were all out for IP9 on the first day, not too good a total for the team. This morning, o'i a, so It wicket, they got Palmerston all out fo • 40 inside an hour, Nixon getting fire wickets for 15 runs. The tickling was good all round, and three men were run out. Miiliken was in good form behind the wickets, and caught two and stumped two. In the follow-on the visitors did a little better, though they had lost four wickets for 46 at the luncheon adjournment. Laurciison was the best batsman.- He was caught at silly point by Jack Taylor, who stopped a fast ball with h'i right hand, and finished the catch with his left. The side was all out for 82, and Christchurch won by an innings aud 77 runs. The following are the scores:—
