BAYONET ATTACKS Y/ERE PUSHED HOME, WITH THE RESULT THAT THE ALLIES' PAfROLS ARE WITHIN A FEW KILOMETRES OF OSTEND. THE SWEEPING OFFENSIVE WAS NO LESS SUCCESSFUL IU THE SOUTH. THE FRENCH AND BRITISH
