THE WEATHER.

A clear blue sky and warm sunshine were the order in Christchurch to-day. The absence of a 'nor'-we ter made the conditions pleasant. But for one or two exceptions, the weather throughout New Zealand was seasonable and fine. East Cape, Nuggets and the Bluff were the only, places to experience cloudy and .threatening conditions. Light south-west.windvmoderate seas* and a low barometer predominated in thp Dominion.

The following is the Government Meteorologist's 'forecast.: "The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but southerly, moderate to strong, prevailing. There is a prospect of fair weather and cold night. The barometer has a rising tendency."
