GRAND THEATRE.

Large crowds attended the matinees at tho Grand Theatre to-day, the programme comprising no fewer than, ten pictures. To-night will he the lasiof the current programme, in which "The Opal Ring'' is the star attraction. There will""be a change of programme on Monday, when a further instalment of tho serial "Lucillo Love" will he shown. This is the fourteenth series and leaves only ono more to be screened. The story is approaching the great climax and the end is stated to be startling. It is remarkable how the interest has been sustained in this serial; the play has gained fresh adherents each week. The acting throughout of Lucille, Lottbeque and Thompson, the crook butler, has been very fine. The serial will be supported by au excellent variety of other films, including the sensational industrial picture "Among the Clouds," depicting the building of New York's highest skyscraper, where the workmen are descrihed as "human spiders at work.", The series of war events to be shown on Monday include "Our Gallant Niival Brigade at Antwerp," "Armoured Cars and 'Busses." "Antwerp's Bridge of Boats," " Belgian Advance on German iVenclies," "Midst the Boar rf the Big Guns," etc. A fine supporting drama, entitled " Heartstrings," a, comedy, "Murphy and the Mermaids," and a pretty scenic showing the " Canadian Rockies " will complete the .programme.
