M- Andrew Fisher recently instituted an action against the secretary of the New South Wales Liberal Association, claiming £IO,OOO for an alleged libel contained in a ieaflet reporting a supposed interview with the lato Mr W. T. Stead on the loyalty of tho Empire. The case has been settled out of Court, the defendant retracting the.allegation of disloyalty.
