Going down the back FranzaIcna, Disappear and Jack Ashore closed on tho leaders, and half a milo from home they were in.' striking distance of the leaders, Evelyn being four lengths out in front, - followed by Lady Superior, Little Tib and General Elmo. Turning for homo Jack.Ashore put in a- good run, but Evelyn he'd her place and won by four lengths, Jack Ashore being a similar distance in" front of General Elmo, with Disappear fourth, followed by Little Tib, and- Master Raymond. Six ! furlongs from home the leader was being ridden hard, but ho lasted long l enough to win by a neck from Doris Wilkes, who finished very fast. Gold Drift was ten yards further back, followed by The Chief. Time—3min 45 1-Ssec.
