INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS. The junior intor-club- competitions wore continued to-day in perfect weather. • The following were the results: ST ALBANS v. ADDINGTON. Playing on the St Albans courts the home team secured a win by 45 games to 43. The scores were as follows, St Albans playors being mentioned first in each caso: Singles—R. Henley beat E. P. Cooper, 9-1 ; fL. Meredith-Kaye lost to J. Munnings, 6-9; G. Fisher lost to A. Derbidge, 6-9; P. M. Baines lost to F. W. Cooper, 8-9. Doubles—(j. Meredith-Kayo and G. Fisher beat A. Derbidge and F. W. Cooper, 9-6; R. Henley and P. M. Baines lost to E. P. Cooper and J. Mannings, 7-9. * Totals—St Albans, 45; Addington, 43. CANTERBURY COLLEGE v. AVONSIDE. Playing at Avonside, the home team defeated Canterbury College by 50 to 34. The scores were as follow, Avonside being mentioned first in each case:— Singles—A. B. Rowlands beat H. C. M'Carthy, 9-3; W. Sherris lost to D. F. Bauchop, 5-9; R. Dixon, boat J. H. C. Schroder, 9-8; R. 'Malcolm beat E. D. Reid, 9-4. Doubles—A. B. Rowlands and W T . Sherris beat' H. G. M Garthv nnd D. F. Bauchop, 9-5 ; R. Dixon and R. Malcolm bent J. H C. Schroder and E. D. Reid, 9-5. Totals—Avonside 50, Canterbury College 34 SOUTH CHRISTCIIURCH v. OPAWA. The South Christehurch a.nd Opawa teams played.a match at South Christehurch,' and the result was a tie. The scores wero as follow, Opawa players being mentioned first m each, case:— Singles—Garland beat Dickson, 9-6- Q'Connell lost ,to. Berry, 7-9; Hannan lost to Hawkins, 7-9; Willis lost to Deavoll, 4-9. Doubles—Garland and Harman bent Dickson and Berry, 9-7; O'Connoll and Willis beat Hawkins and Deavoll, 9-5. Totals—Opawa 45, South Chxistchurch 45.
