SIR CHARLES LUCAS.

The death is announced of Rear-Ad-miral Sir Charles Davis Lucas, the first man to win the Victoria Cross, aged eighty years.

(The late Rear-Admiral Sir Charles Davis Lucas served in the Burmese war of 1852-3, and was present at the capture of Rangoon, Dalla, and Prome. He served in tho Baltic in 1554-5.)
