MEN'S HOCKEY. In ■ addition to the largo five-a-side tournament at Sydenham Park to-mor-row, two ■■..represents tiro matches will he played hy Canterbury, tin* A team against South Canterbury, and the B team against, Ashburton. The five-a-side, matches will commence at. 9.30 a.m., when the third, fourth and fifth grade, competitions will be run off. The Senior and .Tupior matches will be commenced at 1.30 p.m. For the first time in the history of the flre-a-s.ide tournaments, a cup will be competed for between tlio Senior grades. This cup has been presented by the defunct Drapers' Club, which disbanded this year on Account of insufficient membership. Having a large surplus in hand, the club decided to donate n silver cup to the Canterbury Hookey Association, and as a result of their action the cup will l>e an extra trophy in, the tournament. In addition, the Canterbury Hockey Association is presenting gold pendants to'the members of tlu> winning teams in the Senior and Junior grades, and silver pendants to the members of the winning teams in the third and fourth grades. . -LADIES' HOCKEY. SIX-A-STTMS TOU.K NAM KNT. The annual six-a-side hockey tournament of the Canterbury Toadies' Hockey Association will take place to-morrow at the Polo Grounds, where seventeen teams will participate in the Senior and Junior competitions. There are pevea entries in the Senior grade, and ten in the Junior, and the latter gomes will bully off at 11 a.m. and tho Senior games at 2.30 p.m. After the tournament-, the presentation of the Senior and Junior cups will be made.
