ARRESTED.
J. A. MIINNON IN LONDON. CLERK WHO WENT HOME ANOTHER CUSTOMS CASE. John Alexander. M'Kinnon, whose name has been freely mentioned in tho recent Customs fraud eases as one of the. ".wanted," was arrested yesterday in London, and will bo brought to New Zealand on three charges, namely: *— That in May, 1011, ho did utonl £42, tho property of tho Now Zealand Express Company. That in November, 1911, he did , 'steal £23, the property of tho New Zealand Express Company. That in May, 1911, ho did steal £32, the property of J. M. Hey Wood and Co. M'Kinnon, who was a clerk in •Christchureh, wont Home some time ago to study medicine, and it is stated that he was within an ace of passing his final examinations. Ho has been "wanted" for some time, and at one stago ho was believed to Ik? in Spam. Tho warrants were sent Home somo months ago. Word of tho arrest was received to-day. M'Kinnon will have to be extradited, and a New Zealand officer will have to make the trip Home.
