DR CHESSON TAKES UP DUTIES. Arriving from Wellington, where b.3 was District Health Officer, Dr Herbert Ches&on has taken up similar duties in the Canterbury district. Dr Chesson has succeeded Dr 11. E. Finch, who recently removed to Wellington to take tip a position in the head oihee of tho Department of Hospitals, Charitable-) Aid ami Public Health. It was announced yesterday that Dr Chesson had relieved Dv Finch temporarily, but it is now stated that ho lias taken up the duties nHvuiajmatly..
