After a. conference with Sir Cecil Spring-Rice, .British Ambassador, MiBryan stated that- when the British Government took occasion to make representation to the Mexican Constitutionalists at Chilmahna, they would do so directly through their own vice-con-sul. Mr Bryan explained that no change of policy was thus involved. Where there were no British consuls tho United States would continue to act.
