When tho fii-o broke out in an Italian rooming-house at Bridgeport, Connecticut, in wliioh were fifty boarders, a panic followed. Tho polico used clubs to drive out the excited occupants, who fought fiercely to'gain egress by, the wroug oxits. Three were burned to death, and several- injured. >
