MINISTERS ANNOYED.

WERE NOT CONSULTED.

'h T«!«grnph—Pr«n« Association—Copyright. (Received February 12, !.) a.m.) STOCKHOLM, February 11.

The King's outspoken utterances regarding defence, without first consulting his ministers, annoyed the Government..

The Cabinet requested the King in the future, when he contemplated expressing political views, to deign to inform bis Ministers beforehand. 'The King declined to relinquish bis right to speak freely to the Swedish people.

THE CABINET RESIGNS

SPEECHES DIFFERED. STOCKHOLM. February 10. The story that the King proposes to abdicate is repudiated in official circles. Certain divergencies in the King's speech and the Premiers speech to the peasants have created a crisis. The Premier desired to remit the question of the length of service of infantry to the electorate. The poa«ints demanded an immediate solution, declaring that 'military service was bound up in the whole scheme of national defence.

This, combined with the hostility of the Radicals and Socialists caused the Cabinet to resign.
