JURY BLANK.
AS TRIAL PROCEEDS. ] QUESTIONS BAFFLED. DEEP POLICE SCHEME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. 1 (Received November 4, 8.10 a.m.) LONDON, November 3. Router's Kieff correspondent says j that among the several theological experts called to testify concerning the 1 alleged practice of ritual murders, only one, namely, the Roman Catholio priest, Pranilais, upholds the views of tho prosecution. The main points of his evidence have . been repudiated by the Vatican. The questions put to the theologians are manifestly incomprehensible to the jury. There are indications that the prose- ( oution recognising the extreme weakness of the case against Beiliss seeks . to excite the jury's prejudices against ' Jews in order to secure a conviction. JEWISH PROTEST. DEMONSTRATION IN LONDON. LONDON, November 3. Thousands of Jews from every Euro- • pean nationality demonstrated in Trafalgar Square against the Kieff accusations. '
