BREAD THROWERS PENALISED
NO MORE STREET WALKS FOR RINGLEADERS. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 29. Eighteen prisoners, who. when returning from the Mount Cook brick works to the Terrace Gaol on Friday afternoon, insisted on halting in Upper Willis Street three times, while two ot their number publicly complained of the qualitv of the bread and the insufficiencv of other food were brought before Mt J. R. Blair, visiting Justice, and ordered to be punished in various ways. The ringleaders are not to bo allowed to march through the streets in Uiture.
