PANAMA EXPOSITION.

EXHIBITS WANTED. THE LIVE STOCK DEPARTMENT. Mr O. B. Peruberton, secretary of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association, lias received the following communication from Mr D. 0. Lively, Chief of the Department of Live Stock, Panama-Pacific Exposition " Under separate cover you will receive a little booklet which gives advance information about the Live Stock Department of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1910. " It is my hope that some of your friends will conclude to exhibit sheep at this exposition. Wo will be glad to have any character of exhibit which pertains to this department, but your country i? famous for its sheep, and the sheep section will be an out-standing attraction. " You can say to anyone interested that there will be a ready sale for all of the quality stock that will be sent to Sa.u Francisco. '' Attention is specially directed to that part of the booklet which tells of a. continuous show. Should the exhibitors agree to have specimens hero during that time they will be allowed to make sale and delivery of same within a reasonable time limit. " If-you will be good enough to furnish me with the names of breeders who might desire to exhibit I will be glad to forward them a copy of this booklet, and also the official classification which ill be published eomc time next year."
