SYDNEY WHARF LABOURERS. SYDNEY, September 10. The wharf labourers' trouble continues. A third steamer, the Barwon, is held ujj. The shipowners are awaiting a meeting of the Wharf Labourers' Union to discuss the position to-night before adopting steps to resist the demand. A meeting of the Wharf Labourers' Union decided to support the men on Strike.

THE BLACKBALL STRIKE.

The mining managers and miners' delegates sat at Westport in conference to-day and finally came to a settlement of the Blackball strike satisfactory to both parties.
