Tallow.—At the tallow auctions 1658 casks were offered and 1341 casks were sold; mutton, fine 38s per cwt, medium 35s ; beef, fine 37s 6d, medium 34s 6d. Victoria Loan. The Victoria £2,000,000 4 per cent loan has been underwritten at £t)S, repayable .194060, with an accrued interest of us. Silver.—2s 3|d per ounce. Turpentine.—29s 9d.
