STOLEN JEWELLERY.
A CARELESS PASSENGER. By T«legr»ph—Pr»i» Association— CopyrigM. (Received September 10, 9.20 a.m.) '• SYDNEY, September 10. A man left a parcel of jewellery of tlie value of £785 in a train. The detectives subsequently discovered it practically intact, hidden iu a teapot under a house. A youth who was a passenger in the train was arrested and remanded on a charge of stealing the jewellery.
