ST DAVID'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

ANNIVERSARY SERVICES. " The second anniversary of St. David's Presbyterian Church in its recently acquired property, was celebrated on Sunday, and was continued on Tuesday evening. The Revs Dr Erwin and G. Lindsay, late of Invercargill, preached on Sunday to large congregations. A tea was given on Tuesday night, followed by a public meeting, and both gatherings were well attended. The Rev C. Murray, minister in charge, presided, and stated that during the two years' location in the present place fifty-nine members had been enrolled after'examination and eightynine by certificate and disjunction, making a total enrolment of 148. There had been also some removals. The roll of those in full membership was expected to stand at 200 when the church year closed in June. The liability on the prcoert-v stood at £450. The Rev O' l ' Brwin gave an address on the attitude and spirit of the church and the Rev D. D. Rodger spoke to the voiintc people. Miss Fisk. Mrs M'Cracken, Mr Olds and Mr Rh'odda sang solos, and the choir under Mr W. Lake, the church choirmaster, rendered two_ anthems in an effective manner. Miss Ibbotscn, the church organist, was accompanist. Votes of thanks were passed to all who had helped. After .singing the National Antliem the Benediction was pronounced.
