ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
[Per Press Association.] HASTINGS, May 14. Mr T. Batcheior, married, and aged fifty-five years, a gardener at Olrig Station, committed suicide yesterday by cutting his throat. The deceased told the manager of the station that he was going to leave and asked for a cheque. The manager later found Batcheior dead with a razor in his hand. The deceased had been drinking.
