ON THE DREDGE.
THE OFFICIAL SIGHTSEERS. About five hundred people were on the dredge Canterbury, and they formed the party of official sightseers. To them of the'excursionists was given the first official view of the New ZeaJand as she lav at the Heads waiting for the signal to enter the harbour. Amongst those on the dre dee were the chairman of the Lvttelton Harbour Board (Mr II Moore), the Mayors of Christchurch, Rangiora, Lyttelton. Riccarton. ( New Brighton. Kaiapoi, Woolston, Spreydon.
