DRINK'S DOINGS.
DEATH FROM EXPOSURE. [Per Press Association.] BLENHEIM May 13. On Saturday a waggon loaded with coal and stores left Ron wick lor Glengyle. At the Wairau Valley Station Michael Hunter and Arthur Reuv jumped into the waggon and lay on the top of the load. It is allagrd that they were under the influence of liquor. After going ten miles Hunter was missed, but the waggoner continued his journey. Next morning the driver, Clemens, returned to .search for Hunter. who was found live miles hack on the track, dead. He is supposed to have fallen off the waggon. At the inquest a verdict was found of death from exposure, accelerated by the man's alcoholic condition.
