MARCONI COMMISSION.
ME WINSTON CHURCHILL ANGRY. By Teleprßph.—Press Aosociaiion.—Copyright. (Received April 29. 1.5 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. At tlio Marconi Commission, Mr E. A. Powell, editor of the "Financial News" gave evidence, that on April 18 them were a crowd of stockbrokers and tho public clamouring for shares, while four insiders-- Mr Hoybourno, Mr Harry Isaacs, Mr Marconi and Sir Rufus Isaacs— dominated and controlled the market. Mr Powell, under pressure, admitted that he had heard a rumour that Mr Churchill had invested in Marconis, but he did not believe the rumour. Mr Churchill, who was indignant at being called, gave evidenco that the chargo was most insulting and based on tittle-tattle. He never dea.lt in Marconis, and if anyone said he did he was a liar and a slanderer. The chairman of the committee assured Mr Churchill that he only wished to give him an opportunity to deny, but Mr Churchill refused to lx?> mollified and walked out indignantly.
