'A New York message says that after Oliver Kirk had a lead at the end of pix rounds in the scheduled, eight rounds fight at St Louis, Abe Attell stopped 'fighting, and announced that he was quitting j: tho ring permanently. \ RITCHIE v. WOLGAST. (Received November 29, 1.15 p.m.) • • VANCOUVER, November 28. At Daly City, California, Ritchie defeated '"VVolgast, winning light-weight honours. The fight went sixteen rounds, Wolgfist steadily losing; ! In the fight between Ritchie and iWolgast the men fought like tigers throughout. Thoy bled freely from face blows, and Wolgast's teeth also suffered. In the sixteenth round "VVolgast hit low, and the referee awarded .the match to Ritchie upon a foul. There was a tremendous crowd, and the decision generally was received with satisfaction. The early rounds were very even. -
