Mr Fisher replied that lie had obtawrved the decision with regret. It was clearly against the treaty between Britain and America, and involved 'Australian interests. He did not think It wise at the present time to discuss the matter. Ho had already expressed the Commonwealth's views to tho MoMwr 1 Country.
