INTERVIEW WITH/A "KING." United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received.August 13, 11.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 13. Mr W. J. Watriana. who claims to lie the Native king of th& Loyalty Islands, and for many years resident in Sydney, states that ho interviewed Mr Fisher regarding the referendum proposal to transfer the islands to the Commonwealth, and that Mr Fisher will await a despatch from tlio Secretary of State with regard to negotiations on the matter proceeding between Britain and France. According to Mr Watriana, he quarrelled with his father twenty-two years ago over consenting to grant a protectorate to the French, and then came to Sydney, where he worked as a gar-dener-coachman for some years, till his mother discovered him and supplied him with funds.
