DOMAIN FETE.
Mr R. Ilea ton Rhodes, M.P.. of Tai Tapu, has again kindly given a large quantity of narcissus and other bulbs to the fete. They will be sold at the plant stall and the proceeds paid into the funds. Tho Executive Committee asks business people and citizens who are prepared to give articles or goods for sale to kindly send them in hefore eleven o'clock on the morning of the fete. There, is an excellent demand for fete tickets, and, as the committee has arranged that this year there shall be three free trips, the record sale of last year should be beaten. The Executive considers that a second fortune-telling tent would be an advantage to the fete, and therefore 'is prepared to receive olfers from those versed in tho art of prediction. Tho patrons of the moving pictures who attend the fete will receive their share of attention, as the management of tho West-Hayward Pictures has undertaken to sell tickets from a stand oil tho grounds. Such tickets will bo available for admission to the pictures at the ordinary races, but half the proceeds will go direct to tho fete funds. The members of tho Wcst-Hayward's orchestra are giving their services and during the afternoon will render suitable instrumental items. In connection with the stand, there will be a number of novelties, specially made by the management, in the nature of iilm serviette, rings, and these will be sold, all receipts being banded over to the fete funds.
