THE RAILWAY COMMISSION.
REPUDIATED BY THE MEN. MR KEIR HARDIE'S ADVICE. United Press Association—By Elevitrio Te legra ph—Copyright. LOiNDON, October 80. Tlie railwaymen at Leeds, Chester, Northampton, Burton-on-Trent, Cardilt' and Swansea, repudiating the commission's findings instructed the executives to seek immediate redress, if noeossary by a strike. Mr Keir Hardie, speaking at Sunderland, said he hoped the railway men would trust the leaders to deal with the disappointing report and loyally accept the findings. Unity was the one thing essential. It was bettor to patiently await it than spoil the outlook by rashness. If a strike was inevitable, joint action with the colliers should bo seonred. This continuation would beat all the powers, Including military, that could be brought against it.
