Mr G. Gould returned from a visit to Svdncy this morning. The Hon R. M'Kenzie. Minister ot Public Works, arrived in Nelson this morning. He will £o to ood this evening, and will speak at Wakefield on. Wednesday. Mr Littlejohn. the. Rhodes scholar mentioned in a cable message as winning first-class honours in tho science* tripos, is Mr Charles Berry Littlejohn, son of Mr W. S. Littlejol-.n, formerly headmaster of the Nelson Boys' College. _ He was given his early education in Nelson-, and is a Victorian Rhodes scholar at Oxford. His father is now principal of the Scots College, Victoria.
