SEAMEN'S STRIKE.

Mr Havelock W T ilson states that the advance in wages secured by the seamen will cost shipowners £360,000 annually. RIOT AFTERMATH. Sixty people, including twelve policemen, have been treated in hospitals through the riots in Liverpool. MANCHESTER CARTERS. The carters' rioting in Manchester continues. The police repeatedly charged the rioters, and one hundred men have been sent to hospital. The rioters attempted to stop the traffic in the Ship Canal by stopping the Barton Hydraulic Works from operating the swing of the aquaduct.
