Tlio pressure of business at tlio State Guaranteed Advances Office in Wellington, particularly thn branch dealing with the workers' advances, has become so great, entailing tho attendance of officers at all hours, that it has been found necessary to make regulations fixing the hours of attendance from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Applications for advances to workers continue to come in largely, averaging of kite about fifty per week.
