THE RECIPROCITY BILL. BEFORE THE SENATE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON. June 14. The Reciprocity Bill has been reported to the Senate, noncoimnittally, with Senator Root's amendment added. Several Senators filed minority reports, some favourable, some unfavourable. Senator Gore introduced an amendment for placing on the free list Canadian flour,, meat and agricultural implements. He stated that he would not press the amendment if the Bill were jeopardised by it. Senator Meyburn stated that the committee would be tied whether tho report was adverse or otherwise. Figures showing Canadian imports of United States goods supplied to the Senate Finance Committee by Mr Knox disclosed that the Canadian remission of duties was nearly throe and a quarter million dollars. Canada's imports from the United States did not increase last year.
