LONDON, March 18. Mr Ramsay Macdonald states that, while acquiescing in the readjustment of relations between the Lords and Commons, he would strenuously oppose the preamble of the Parliament Bill, oreating another second chamber. He, rejoiced at the arbitration aspirations, but thev would do more harm than good if "the opinion got abroad that there was going to bo an Anglo-Saxon alliance, imposing its will on the .whole world.
MR REDMOND ON HOME RULE. LONDON, March 18.
Mr Redmond in an article in " Reynolds Newspaper" cites the granting of autonomy to Alsace-Lorraine, also the existence of Germany's twenty-five autonomous States. He adds: "Our own colonial experience, especially the latest instance in South Africa, has convinced me that the time is near .when, the .successful working of Home Rule in Ireland will bo taken as a matter of course.'-"
