Johnson-Hicks (Conseryativsj has been returned unopposed for tha Brentford division of Middlesex. The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Lord Alwyne, Comptou (Conservative), who at the general election in December defeated his Liberal opponent; Mr W. G. Lobjoit, by 919 D votes to 6124.
